Tom, I have to confess that aside from your initial proof last week,
very little of what you're posting makes sense to me. Perhaps you
could clearly and briefly summarize the point that you're trying to
make (I'm assuming that you're trying to make a point somewhere).

Reposting mails from another dev list out of context is quite
confusing (at least to me).
