Enough already. :-)

I've gone and implemented this my way. The error numbers are shown,
along with source file and line imformation, in maintainer mode.
Otherwise, only the texts are printed.

Once we make the texts more user-friendly, everything should be just fine.

BTW, notice that GCC, which has tons more error and warning messages
than we do, doesn't print error codes or mnemonics, either -- and this
works just fine. In fact, most of the time the problem is that users
don't post exact output and exact repros, not the lack of codes or
mnemonics.
