Can you go into more detail about what the problem was? From your
code I guess it was the problem where a deleted directory remained in
the working copy after a commit. If that was it, there are already
regression checks, see rev 2568. In particular, I remember that when
I fixed the bug commit_tests.py started to fail, it had a bug
workaround which I then removed.
