I'm aware of that. Please treat my mail as call for attention
as this is a real issue - for me it's even critical because
svn won't work at all without ,,hacks'' right now. And 1.0 is closer
and closer...

Repeating question - I don't want to do that - most of people
don't like that (including me).

I can't do that myself. On my systems dlopen("libxyz.so", ...) doesn't
cause loading libxyz-1.so. I need other people to check why this
scheme is working for them :-(

compilato already helped me a bit by showing his strace :)
