I like that ! You always keep the head revision in the repository so
that it can be accesses with "normal" file:// clients ?

This would be very useful, since it provides an easy facility to
retrieve the HEAD version of a repository. I always wondered how to
accomplish that (with ra_local) without polling the repository for changes.
