I don't think, that this is a problem. We are talking about a uniform
resource *locator* and not about a WSDL or something. The location of
the resource in svn HTTP URLs is consistent with other apps (and doesn't
say anything about the methods that can be applied on the location).

BTW: If file:// is replaced with svnlocal:// it will be just a matter of
time, that Mozilla will become a Subversion client ... ;-) Right now it
would have no chance loading the proper protocol handler.
