I have never suggested that I could put all my mistakes of the past 10
years into two pages. And I think that noone on this list is really
interested in my mistakes on bying the wrong stocks ;-). And I
certainly agree with you that you can never enumerate all possible
mistakes.

OTOH there are many mistakes which typically lead into problems when
you try to track versions (whether or not you use a SCM). I am _not_
proposing to enumerate _all_ of those mistakes. But I think it would
be a good thing if the most annoying/destructive would be mentioned in
an appendix of the handbook. If you agree with Karl that I am a troll:
say so and I will shut up...
