It's been a long time since I first used subversion so I can't remember
how comfused I was... but it is... weird. And as I realized what
Féliciano was saying it does bother me that it's not following the standard.

Not the end of the world but nice to change if possible.

And I would definitely favour something like svnlocal:// rather than svn://
