I think the number of people who want to create local files whose
names *look* like URLs can be counted on the fingers of one thumb.

+1 on the solution everyone else has been +1'ing.

Exactly. Single-letter lowercase options are like diamonds; and we
should be like De Beers. At least in this respect.
