database/repository error/ which version?

I checked out subversion to try using it a week or two ago, and it has
been working okay. I recently did a svn up on subversion and rebuilt it.

When i next did a svn commit to my local repository, after i put in log
entries it said that it couldn't find the respository.

Now when i do a svn up (there), it says:

svn_error: #21101 : <Couldn't find a repository.>
  Unable to open an ra_local session to URL

svn_error: #21101 : <Couldn't find a repository.>
  svn_ra_local__split_URL: Unable to find valid repository
   (file:///home/flb/ddp/svnr1/game4)

I've just tried it with version 2451 of subversion and it works again, was
there anything supposed to break local repository access between 2451 and
the current version?
