It's only PoLS if you're coming from CVS. Which isn't really an important
distinction, since your target audience for Subversion is CVS folks, but it
is good to keep in mind that people may like CVS-style conflict markers only
because they've been conditioned to; IE, people like what they are used to,
not neccessarily what is the best solution.
