The link pointed to some other URL:
http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/trunk/INSTALL

And the site svn.collab.net has nameserver problems and/or is rather slow.
After some trying I succeeded in finding the document.

No, I still have not found out why it failed. But I think it's svn-server
related. I run an older server & client installed from Debian packages.

| ii subversion-server-svn 588-1
| ii subversion-client-svn 588-1

I then realised those weren't as up to date as the svn-repository
itself, so I downloaded svn itself with svn, and tried to compile, but
didn't yet succeed at doing so, since I need all sorts of new libraries,
and that is kinda nasty when running Debian GNU/Linux.

Debian is a pre-compiled package based distribution. So I have to make
new packages for libneon18, libdb4, libapr, and probably apache2 too..

Regards,
Sander.
