Using svn with no direct network connection

Hi,

Is it going to be possible to use Subversion in a non networked set-up?

What we have here is a set of developers in the UK working on a project who are
networked together. But we also have a couple of developers based in Germany
who, for obvious reasons, cannot see our internal network.

What we can do is email and ftp but for security reasons we cannot allow
external access to our network.

Is it going to be possible to use Subversion in this set-up?
