About the only time so far I've used the commit mail web archive, I was happy
the subject mentions specific files as that made me find the correct mail
very quickly and then I could study the commit message etc.

I had no idea who did the change in question so the user's name wouldn't have
helped me.

Of course, this is not a very strong opinion. Just a use case from the real
world! ;-)
