It was the Release, and I got my hopes up for a minute!
But the Debug does exactly the same thing.

As far as I can tell, it hangs in the select() at line 383
of ne_socket.c, in sock_block. The call stack is:

select
sock_block
sock_peek
sock_readline
send_request
ne_begin_request
ne_request_dispatch
svn_ra_dav__parsed_request
svn_ra_dav__get_activity_url
begin_checkout
svn_ra_dav__do_checkout
svn_client_checkout

This couldn't be something as simple as a firewall problem,
could it? The search box on the project page didn't find anything.

Peter.
