I'll agree with Karl's version, too, but let me just throw out my original
suggestion as well:

The idea here was to put the copyright notice in the context of "on behalf
of" which (in my opinion) makes the notice read as a statement of
CollabNet stewardship and less of a claim of CollabNet authorship.
I realize that the 'copyright stands alone' line at the top is more
"traditional" but it's certainly not a legal requirement.
I'm willing to contribute code as things are; I'd prefer crediting the
"many individuals" more; I like Karl's version as a great improvement on
the current header, and my ideal statement is the one above.
That's all I'll say on the issue for now; I feel like I'd quite adequately
said my piece. =) Now back to writing fiery denunciations of the DMCA...
