Just fyi, I'm working on Change #1

I'm working on Change #1 (of the 7 changes Ben emailed the list
about). That's the one in which a root_dir_baton will get returned
when an editor is created, and replace_root and close_edit (the two
functions that took an edit_baton directly) go away.

It's the largest of the changes, in terms of complexity and lines of
code affected, and it'll be nice to get it out of the way. Many
things will be easier after it is done.

I haven't finished yet. It will take most of tomorrow to complete,
probably.
