I'm Peter Vogel, I've been doing CM as at least a part (if not all) of my
job
responsibilities for nearly 12 years. I have had at least a part in the
implementation of several CM systems layered on top of RCS or on top
of tools layered on top of RCS (i.e. full project control and build systems
layered on top of CVS) I've been using CVS since 1.3 and made extensive
changes to CVS 1.3 for windoze compatibility in 1996. I have written and
maintained large C and C++ code bases. My largest C++ project was
50KLOC, my largest C project was over 400KLOC and I've been part of
the configuration management of codebases well over 2Million lines of code
shared between 4 compiler projects with over 100 major subsystems.
CM is what I do nowadays, so I should be able to contribute a fair amount,
though I would not exactly describe the level of contribution I can make as
"part of my full time job" since my full time job is full enough without
adding
subversion to it, but I will contribute wherever I can.
