Last I heard he was coding away; he seemed to have made a good deal of
progress when he last spoke, so when we don't hear anything I assume
that's because he's coding like mad. :-)

That release is just a "hello, world" beta, not 1.0, by the way. 1.0
comes later (around end of year).
