Btw, this is long accepted (by the CVS development team) as a bug in
CVS too, it's just that no one's fixed it.

In other words, it's no one's idea of a good user interface, it's just
a case of bad implementation.

In general, the bad interfaces in CVS that are the result of
implementation compromises (or lazinesses, whichever case may be),
will not be duplicated in Subversion.
