urgent: subversion repository does not react.

Dear all,

actually, I cannot access my subversion repository anymore.

My configuration:
- on a local disk
- accessible via webdav/https only
- running on Debian unstable
- size: 2115517640 bytes

subversion worked perfectly until I run the daily
    apt-get update
    apt-get upgrade

Since then, I cannot access the repository anymore.

To figure out what happened, I stopped apache2 and run
    svnadmin verify
However, svnadmin does not print out anything and cannot be stopped by
Ctrl-C or 'kill <pid_of_svnadmin>'.

I fear to 'kill -9' svnadmin. (May I loose any data if I do?)

But the main problem is: how can I access the data? Is it possible
that there is any lock somewhere?

Any idea?

Thanks in advance!

wbr,
Lukas
