Go for it! Should be able to be part of a pipe, so we could run

SimonsEliminator --kill=screen -kill=literal < checky.xml | aspell
--lots-of-options > log.file

I'd expect that a text like:
"Paris <literal>arse</literal> is to fat" would be passed as "Paris is too
fat" to the spellchecker. :)
