User confusion over "Revert"

After training users that Revert means "throw away local changes", i.e.
caution, your edits will be lost, they then find the context menu on a file
shown in the revision log dialog contains an entry "Revert changes from this
revision" which doesn't throw away local changes but does a merge.

IMHO the use of "Revert" on the context menu is confusing for users and
should be replaced with another synonym that doesn't clash with the more
common SVN use of Revert. My (poor) suggestions are; "Back out" and "Undo".
