How would that work? That feature is controlled by the hook, which is a
Subversion feature.

a. There is no way for us to remotely access the repo server and change
the hook scripts.
b. Even if we could, that would open a huge security hole. _Anyone_
could change the hook scripts then.

Since we even give you an example hook script in the manual, I cannot
see why it is a big deal to copy it into your repository hooks directory.
