I totally feel for you Stefan. We users should make up our d*mn minds! ;)

However, since using a GUI is all about making things easier, I think
having it as an option would be quite nice. Something like:
[x] Create top folder in WC

Thanks to the repo browser the checkout process can be entirely
mouse-driven. The only thing that prevents it is having to type the
name of the folder in the edit box. I'd find it useful for when I
check out several branches for comparison and code review purposes.
