Eclipse not starting up after "crash" of Subclipse

Hello,

after I killed Eclipse (because two pending SVN operations they didn't come
to an end) Eclipse is not starting up any more... (Win XP, Eclipse 3.0,
Subclipse 0.9.27, working directory on a shared volume (I know that this is
not recommended))

Is there a good way to stop background SVN Operations? It sometimes does
nothing even if I press the cancle button?

Any idea how I could bring Eclipse it back to life?

Thanks,

Gunnar
