I can verify this. I've got my repository set up with https access. I
did nothing specific for Subversion except putting it in the a.b.c.d:443
virtual host. (And compiling the client with --with-ssl.)

In fact, the most annoying part isn't even Apache-specific. I hate
OpenSSL's process for creating certificates.
