I see you're using version 1.8.9, which is quite old. Lots of bugs
have been fixed since then.

So the first thing is to try the latest released version, which is
1.9.7, or at least the last version of the 1.8 branch, which is 1.8.19
(note: the 1.8.* series will soon become unsupported, as 1.10 is close
to being released).
