I've updated and done a casual test of my build tools for 1.8.11 for
RHEL 6 with my published tools at:

    https://github.com/nkadel/subversion-1.8.x-srpm/

I've had to give up doing backports of 1.8.x for RHEL 5, I don't have
time to maintain the tool chain and there is no compatible serf
library for RHEL 5 published by EPEL.

I realize it's a bit odd to publish Subversion build tools at
github.com, but it's a personal repo of build tools, not a source
repo, and much easier for me to personally maintain for various
reasons.
