Upgrade Subversion Repository from 1.5 into 1.8

Hi all,

Is this true - Subversion 1.8 can only upgrade working copies created with
Subversion 1.6 and Subversion 1.7

Currently we have Subversion 1.5 and want to move that into Subversion
1.8.,...............Please advise.
