Subversion Client on z/OS

Hello ;

I am on the same way as you.

I have been build svn 1.4.0 on z/OS (omvs environnement)

(with apr, apr-util and neon component)

The svn server and client run well.

My opinion is not to run a svn server on z/OS for performance purpose

We are going to use only the svn client)

I experience with cvs and our operating system has too much suffer !

We plan to use a svn repository on a unix platform and only use the svn
client to checkout/commit our MVS ebcdic COBOL source and COPY

I have no idea how we will interface ISPF and USS environnements (maybie
using BPXBATCH or TSO REXX shell command calling "bpxwunix")

I hope, we will share our experience.

Best regards
