Offering my time for building & running the test suite

Hi

I currently run Subversion 1.7.7 via svnserve on my laptop development
computer

jonny_at_jrlp01 /usr/lib $ svn --version
svn, version 1.7.7 (r1393599)
   compiled Oct 26 2012, 08:59:54

I would like to offer my computer and time to help building and running the
Subversion test suite, but without impacting my existing configuration.

Is this possible? e.g. to build and run Subversion in a local directory
i.e. /home/svn-local ?

Details on my computer:

jonny_at_jrlp01 /usr/lib $ uname -a
Linux jrlp01 3.5.0-18-generic #29-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 19 10:26:51 UTC 2012

jonny_at_jrlp01 /usr/lib $ python --version
Python 2.7.3

What other tools do I require and information do you require?
Where can I post the results of running the test suite?
Are there any benchmark tests that I should be running?

Thanks for you time in creating a great version control system
