Do you run any anti-virus/spyware on the server? Have you tried
disabling it to see if the problems disappear?
I have this recollection that the root cause of when you start seeing
these Win32DisableAcceptEx suggestions that the root cause is some
other software that is interfering with the TCP/IP stack such as these
virus tools that try to monitor all the traffic flowing in and out of
the server.
Since you are using VMWare and SVN Edge, have you considered running a
Linux OS in the virtual machine? SVN Edge hides most of the
differences in the OS, so it is just the basic OS management you have
to deal with. You will at least avoid these problems you are having.
