Strictly speaking this is not a subversion error, the python traceback above shows that the `mailer.py` hook script is failing (probably in post-commit which means that your commit succeeded, only the post-commit operation failed). I don't use this script but I guess from the `deprecation` warning at the top that there might be a newer version available than the one you are using, perhaps you could investigate that first?
