Yes, probably, unless it was killed so quickly that it couldn't even cry
for help any more, which e.g. happens if you cut the power or use "kill
-9" on POSIX systems.

However, I was referring to the error message that is given if you e.g.
run "svn update", which knows nothing about previously interrupted or
still running operations! The only thing it knows is that there is a
lock and that this indicates an unfinished operation. In that case, SVN
really must let the user decide whether something was interrupted or
whether something is still running.
