Tortoise SVN Error - %23 instead of # in local path

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

I encountered the following problem - here is the message:

I found the mistake, it was a wrong character in the external path.
I copied / pasted the path from tortoise to a differente tortoise window
and it inserted "*C%23*" instead of "*C#*".
