RE: "Subversion encountered a serious problem." error details

Dave,

Purpose of the original email was to report the error message, which is the first screen shot, as was explicitly requested in the error message.

Purpose was not to discuss second error message. Second error message was included just to provide any additional details that may be of help.

The discussion is about the second error message--the one you received from AnkhSVN, not TortoiseSVN--the one that says, "Subversion detected an unsupported working copy version while checking the status of 'C:\SourceCode\HaccpReportingSystem\trunk'. Most likely you upgraded another Subversion client (e.g. TortoiseSVN or the SVN client) to a newer version without upgrading your AnkhSVN. Please visit http://ankhsvn.net/ to find out about newer AnkhSVN versions supporting this Working Copy."

You'll note that it doesn't mention servers or sending the email to any mailing list. The subversion team did request feedback regarding the first message--the one that asks you to report it on the Subversion mailing list. However, it did not request feedback regarding the second message--the one that says, "Please visit http://ankhsvn.net/ to find out about newer AnkhSVN versions supporting this Working Copy." I don't know how that message could be made clearer, but perhaps you could let us know.

BTW, I'm not sure why you felt the need to copy your entire message again... I've already seen it, and you didn't say anything new. In fact, you've repeated things that you've already been told is incorrect. I.e., "Only noticeable difference between today (and also in the last few days) as compared to previously is that my Tortoise app is not supported by the subversion server software. See below." The message you reference is the subject of this post, and as Markus and I have said, it has nothing to do with your "Tortoise app is not supported by the subversion server software."
