[ANN] Link any text from Subversion

Hi,

You can publish on the web your documents (MS Offiice, PDF, OpenOffice,..)
versioned in Subversion and share text links like this:

http://goo.gl/QylVv

After a while (the document viewer must be downloaded <- only the first
time) a MS Word document will be displayed on your browser.

That document is stored in the public Apache repository. Did you notice that
it was opened and automatically scrolled to this text paragraph?

"This is a sample Microsoft Word Document."

It is a text link. You may create yours by selecting any text on the
document -> right click to display a context menu -> click on *Copy text URL
* option and share them with your colleagues.

Here is the original Word document:

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/poi/trunk/test-data/document/Bug51686.doc

Another example: Do you suspect that there is a bug in a source code file
and want to share it? Simply, create a text link:

http://www.docminer.com/svnflash?action=swf&repo=apache&path=/subversion/trunk/gen-make.py&pegRevision=HEAD&selIni=1083&selEnd=1163

The example above opens a python file and scrolls to an arbitrary text (of
course, it is not likely a bug :)

Where can you get your text links? The Apache repository is published here:

http://goo.gl/79OaW

you can explore it, open any file and create your text link.

If you want to use your own Subversion repository, then you have to download
and install DocMiner from here http://www.docminer.com. Don't worry, it's
free.

On the other hand, it also *compares revisions* of any MS Office document,
PDF, OpenOffice, and may other document formats, and display changes on your
browser.

You will not need to say anymore: in the page N, in the 17th line, where
says "blah, blah, blah"... and attach the document in your email or a link
to the whole document. Use text links instead.

Hope, this helps.
Pablo.
