Have attempted to configure every version of 1.7.0 now at beta3 with
same apr-util error running at the end under AIX 5.3 OS. Have
tried numerous variations of the apr-util options to correct with no
change. While we would like to have a working beta
version of 1.7.0 beta3 in that it contains the dependencies so we can
more easily move it to other AIX servers. Actually
have never been able to even get 1.6.17 version to configure correctly
for AIX 5.3 yet so thought to attempt this beta version.
Either version as long as they would actual run under AIX is what we are
looking for. Attempt at 1.7.0 beta3 below:
