Migrate parts of repository - got it right?

Hi everbody,

I searched the web and the mailing list archive and now just want to make sure that got everything right.

I have the task to move some folders (projects) of repository A into a different repository B. I have no admin access to any of the repositories. The only way to accomplish this is to set up a (local) temporary repo A_tmp, do a 'svnsync' of complete A to A_tmp, dump and filter the wanted projects, load the into a another temporary repo B_tmp and synchronize this with B. There is no way (without admin access to A and B) to just synchronize or mirror parts of repos A without using temporary repositories, right? I just want to that sure, because A is very large and it will take some time to get this done.

Thanks a lot!

Kind regards,
pete
