VisualSVN Server supports communciation methods "http" and "https", as
it is serving repositories via Apache. The server configuration files
can be found in the "conf" folder within the program installation
folder, typically C:\Program Files (x86)\VisualSVN Server\conf.

Check the logs on the server, perhaps they will tell you what the
underlying problem is. (Start "VisualSVN Server Manager", then click
"Open Event Viewer...".) There should be entries that correspond to the
error message that the client got.
