Hi Stefan... I will certainly give that a try.

I totally understand the value of this, and have done this for similar
issues in the past. But the complexity of the mergeinfo involved may
make this impractical at the moment. Normally I'd try to reproduce in as
simple case as possible to try to understand the issue, but this case
may actually require some understanding before attempting to reproduce
outside the repo.
