Do you use option 'nbrl' when mounting?
Like this (in stab):

//winserver/repo /opt/csvn/data/repositories cifs \
nobrl,user=csvn,password=***,rw,uid=csvn,gid=csvn, \
dir_mode=0755,file_mode=0755 0 0
