Server based versioning without Working Copy

Hello!
Is there a possibility to disable the working copy system used by svn? I am currently changing our system from version cue cs4 and want something with similar capabilities. the adobe application integration is not that important, a finder integration would work too.
My favorite solution would be a network share, where clients can just open and save files without even noticing svn is working on the server. but on the server itself you have access to the versions in a timeline (like Versions.app offers).
So in fact, I'm looking for a way to mount the svn master as a network drive and to make svn automatically version all changes.
thank you.
