Sorry for my typo, what I wanted to say was "this solution does not work
if
one wants only some users to have access to the partition", i. e.
configure
permissions on partition level, i. e. use the mount parameter gid with
umask or fmask or dmask. I haven't tried the file-and-directory-level
permissions feature of ntfs-3g, i. e. user mapping (btw, thanks for the
link, Stefan!).
