Maybe not as I previously temporarily tried to compile a more recent
version, in order to solve another problem (needing the logging option which
seems to be not available in 1.5.1).
How can I remove any trace of a version compiled from sources, using
configure / make / make install ?

I checked out from another (desktop) computer, running Windows, and using
TortoiseSVN 1.6.11 (and a svn://... url); the server was running svnserve,
although I expect to configure the Apache module later.
