I have uninstalled VisualSVN Server, then installed the Alagazam 1.6.12
installer.
After doing this the error disappeared,
but running Dependency Walker revealed that some DLLs are missing:
- libhttpd.dll (although it exists in C:\...\Apache2.2\bin)
- linkinfo.dll & ieshims.dll (both exist around C:\Windows\winsxs\...)
I fear that although things seems to work now,
the unruly dependencies might cause problems later on.

Any further advice?
