backup issue using svnadmin hotcopy

hello
I use a svn server (1.6.3) on Windows XP for 2 years using svnserve.
I have 3 repositories, I make a backup using svnadmin hotcopy every week.
For a few weeks, the "preint" repository backup had not the same size of the source backup.

source repository: 1.24 Go 9091 files 19 directories
backup repository: 0.99 Go 7091 files 16 directories

what happens?
the backup place is a network disk big enough to write the backup.
