We are successfully using (mostly) the above.

We have Apache, Heartbeat and we use DRBD to mirror the SVN filesystem

Great failover support...

We had off-site write-through mirroring until somebody lost the server we
were using as a backup in the US ;-) [note to self, send somebody looking
for that server to turn it back on again]
