Dear Person Interested in Subversion:

As part of the transition of the Subversion project into Apache-ness, we've
been trying to move our primary mailing list discussions to our new(er)
lists hosted at apache.org. You might have noticed the footer on messages
sent to this list (which we've had in place for weeks now) that reads:

Please start new threads on the <users_at_subversion.apache.org> mailing
   list.
To subscribe to the new list, send an empty e-mail to
   <users-subscribe_at_subversion.apache.org>.

Well, on Friday, January 8, 2010, we'll be taking the next step in this
transition, which is to disable posting to the users_at_subversion.tigris.org
list altogether. You should still be able to access the archives of this
list at Tigris.org and at other list archival sites (now and in the future).
And we're not planning to abandon any open threads that remain here --
we'll just resume them on the new list (ideally with references to archives
from this list when we first do so).

Thanks for understanding, and for your continued interest in Subversion.
